Mark’s professional career began as a Business Development Manager with GlassPoint Solar where he was the technical lead on the proposals team and the liaison between the engineering and sales departments.  Mark has experience developing and deploying hundreds of megawatts of solar projects in the US and Middle East.

Mark joined Anacapa Engineering and Design, Inc. as a licensed electrical engineer where he supports alternate energy, industrial facilities, and upstream/midstream projects. He has worked on power and automation projects, power generation projects including wind, solar, cogeneration, microturbines, and linear gas engine type generators, and utility interconnection projects including wholesale and behind-the-meter power generation as well as new load services.

In addition to his role as Lead Electrical Engineer, Mark serves as a technical consultant for Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) and Greenhouse Gas reduction projects.  During his time with GlassPoint Solar, Mark worked with the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to develop and implement the innovative crude oil production program including rules for solar, wind, solar heat, and Carbon Capture and Sequestration (CCS) within the LCFS framework.  Mark has successfully prepared and submitted LCFS applications for several clients.
