Lead Mechanical Engineer, Partner

Education
B.S., General Engineering, California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo

Licenses
Professional Mechanical Engineer, Arizona, California, Colorado

Brandon has 10 years of experience in the Engineering/Design/Project Management of upstream and midstream oil and gas, natural gas, industrial, and renewable projects ranging from pre-FEED scoping studies, Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED), through Detailed Design and Construction Support. These projects range from small, single-discipline engineering projects (<$5,000) to larger multi-discipline engineering projects ($500,000+). Brandon is involved in several aspects of these projects as the Process/Mechanical Engineer and/or Project Manager.

Brandon’s work has included capacity studies to debottleneck existing infrastructure to maximize throughput while minimizing client capital investment and steam generator efficiency studies to minimize fuel costs and emission costs.

His other projects often include greenfield/brownfield Plot Plan development including the placement of and the design for API tanks, pump specifications/selection, ASME Section VIII vessel design, control valve selection/specification, stress analysis utilizing CAESAR II software, and balance of plant (BOP) piping following applicable ASME B31 code. Brandon has also worked on various pipeline projects for Biogas, Natural Gas, and crude oil, some of which 49 CFR 192/195 pipelines governed by DOT/PHMSA.

He has also prepared a study to investigate different technologies for produced water treatment for beneficial re-use and prepared cost estimates for several treatment methods including reverse osmosis, forward osmosis, membrane distillation, electrodialysis, multiple-effect distillation, and multistage flash distillation.
